We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Adaptive Control", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Customised blade-tip clearance measurement system from Tyco Thermal Controls, which we summarised at the time by saying "Tyco Thermal Controls has produced CapaciSense, custom-made blade-tip measurement probes for monitoring gas turbine engines in operation using high bandwidth capacitive sensing systems". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Aerospace grade automated drilling robots from Delmia: "Robot software from Delmia allows drilling accuracy at reduced cost and lead time for Airbus".

In April 2007, we covered the news from KUKA Automation + Robotics concerning its Robot - take a look at Mechatronics students served by robots which says: "KUKA Robotics has been selected by Lawrence Technological University to provide robots for the Mechatronic Systems Engineering master's degree program".

Take a look also at the news release from Metris, Optical CMM becomes dynamic measuring machine, as well as Adaptive control safeguards CNC machining from Fidia, and EDM and 5-axis HSM focus on medical machining from Agie Charmilles.
