We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Aluminium Castings", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Automatic bandsaw cuts Al casting runners from PE-TRA Machines, which we summarised at the time by saying "Special purpose automatic bandsaw is dedicated to the cutting of aluminum runner risers of various aluminum alloy castings used in producing automomotive components". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Rapid prototyping facility for south east from University of Greenwich: "Businesses can develop new products in days rather than months, thanks to a new service at the University of Greenwich".

In February 2006, we covered the news from CSIRO concerning its Heat treatment process for diecastings - take a look at Heat treatment strengthens HP die castings which says: "A novel heat treatment process provides large strength improvements - up to double strength - and an excellent surface finish for high pressure die castings, without blistering or distortion".

Take a look also at the news release from Gudel UK, Gantry provides precise pallet positioning, as well as Aerospace parts machine shop replaces solvents from Mecwash Systems, and Software helps inspect nuclear fusion castings from Delcam.
