Start with the news release Measuring static in hazardous areas from Fraser Anti-Static Techniques, which we summarised at the time by saying "The new EX715 Static Meter from Fraser Anti-Static is said to be a unique instrument for measuring static electricity in hazardous areas". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Explosion-proof I/P transducer is ATEX compliant from ControlAir: "ControlAir has announced the ATEX compliant Type-950XP explosion-proof I/P transducer which combines high-performance and reliability".
 
In May 2007, we covered the news from Magnet Schultz concerning its Solenoid - take a look at Industrial solenoid for hazardous areas which says: "Emessem Solenoid has designed the high performance GTCE series of solenoids to meet the new European standards for electrical equipment used in hazardous areas, ATEX Directive RL94/9/EC".
