We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Autodesk Inventor", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Digital systems reduce prototypes manufacture from Autodesk, which we summarised at the time by saying "'Best-in-class' manufacturers make fewer prototypes owing to the growing sophistication of mainstream manufacturing design software, said Mike Lucas". A few weeks before, we featured the news release CAM automates more machining processes from EdgeCAM: "CAM expands on 5-axis machining capabilities and delivers improved CAD data management, faster toolpath generation for prismatic and 3D geometry and new options for hole cycle optimisation".

In November 2007, we covered the news from Open Mind Technologies UK concerning its HyperMILL V9.7 CAM - take a look at CAD users offered integrated CAM which says: "Users of SolidWorks CAD can now take advantage of a CAD-integrated CAM software that realises continuous process chains as the CAD and CAM systems access the same pool of data".

Take a look also at the news release from Delcam, Experiment on CAD data through the project, as well as Autodesk certifies turn-mill CAM from Delcam, and Autodesk certifies ESPIRIT CAM software from DP Technology.
