Start with the news release Latest generation ECM products from BlueCielo ECM Solutions, which we summarised at the time by saying "InnoCielo 2007 features enable companies to share engineering content throughout the enterprise". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release CAM translates CAD data for CNC miller from Pathtrace Engineering Systems: "Pathtrace demonstrated how easy it was to take an Inventor model straight into EdgeCAM Solid Machinist and straight onto a CNC miller without need for any drawings".
 
In July 2004, we covered the news from Open Mind Technologies UK concerning its hyperMILL Version 8 integrated CAD application - take a look at Employ a single CAM system for two CAD systems which says: "Users of Autodesk Mechanical Desktop will no longer have CAM issues to address when changing over to Inventor as the CAM system can be used with both CAD solutions".
