‘Ball Screws’

A Manufacturingtalk guide

Start with the news release Schaeffler offers rolling-bearing selection tips from Schaeffler, which we summarised at the time by saying "Schaeffler has provided tips and guidance for engineers on how to select the most appropriate rolling bearings for their application requirements.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Two Baldor products to make debut at Total from Baldor: "Baldor will introduce the Quadguard sealing system and Ultra Kleen mounted ball bearing at the Total exhibition, which will take place at the NEC Birmingham, 25-27 May 2010.".

In March 2010, we covered the news from Metabo - take a look at Heavy-duty 6in angle grinder lowers vibration which says: "Metabo now offers the 6in Wepa14-150 Quick small angle grinder, featuring an auto-balance system that is claimed to extend both tool and wheel life, while making it safer and more comfortable to use.".

Take a look also at the news release from ITC Tooling, ITC to showcase tooling solutions at Mach 2010, as well as Ball bearing provides sealing and lubrication from Baldor, and Elesa technopolymer casters suit industrial apps from Elesa.
