We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Boring Bars", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Solid carbide drills' heads are replaceable from WNT (UK), which we summarised at the time by saying "Numerous new and innovative cutting tools to be displayed at MACH 2008 include solid carbide drilling with the versatility of a replaceable head system". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Modular boring system covers wide diameter range from WNT (UK): "A modular multi-head boring system has a number of boring bars/bridges to achieve a required diameter using fine adjustment from a single spindle head".

In April 2007, we covered the news from Dugard concerning its Heavy duty 26kW CNC lathe - take a look at Heavy duty CNC lathe has high torque which says: "A heavy duty, 26kW, CNC two-axis lathe offers high torque through ZF two-speed gearbox, and can be maximised at just 250 rev/min".

Take a look also at the news release from WNT (UK), Precision boring heads have digital display, as well as Modular jig/fixture equipment discounts offered from 1st MTA (1st Machine Tool Accessories), and New factory for mill/turn subcontract machining from Kenard Engineering Company.
