Start with the news release Festo and V-viz team up to promote vision systems from Festo, which we summarised at the time by saying "Festo UK has entered into a strategic partnership with V-viz, a specialist machine vision company, to promote the use of intelligent vision systems in automation. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Clitheroe plans further FMS extension from Clitheroe Light Engineering: "Clitheroe Light Engineering, a Lancashire-based contract machinist, is planning to further extend its flexible manufacturing system (FMS) to increase capacity for general engineering contracts.".
 
In July 2009, we covered the news from Dalsa - take a look at Dalsa releases Piranha HS 4k 110kHz camera which says: "Dalsa Corporation, a provider of machine vision technology, has announced the availability of the Piranha HS 4k 110kHz camera.".
