We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "CAD software", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release CAM change speeds water jet programming from Jetcam International, which we summarised at the time by saying "As business grew for a water jet cutting installation, the original CAM was taking too long, so a new CAM acquisition brought a 600% improvement in nesting time, often saving 3h/day". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release CAD speeds deep draw press tool design from Delcam: "Options specific to deep-draw press tool design, such as automated part shape orientation, have been added to CAD to provide dedicated functionality and shorten the design time".

In January 2008, we covered the news from Sheet Metal Guy concerning its Industry Directory - take a look at Directory is guide to sheet metal working supply which says: "Directory guides readers towards sheet metal working equipment and suppliers, giving a clear and informative list of equipment, tooling, and consumables companies".

Take a look also at the news release from ProgeSoft, Free CAD is available for download, as well as Free software offered for RP/RM file inspection from Materialise, and Machining software speeds cylinder heads from Delcam.
