and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest.
Let me be your guide.
Start with
the news release Sliding headstock automatic has three turrets from
Star Micronics GB, which we summarised at the time by saying "A sliding headstock CNC mill-turn automatic lathe, with three turrets, can dramatically reducing cycle times for 'one-hit' machining of complex components up to 20mm diameter".
A couple of weeks before,
we featured the news release CAM trims 5-axis vacuum formed parts from
SolidCAM (CADTECH): "Vacuum forming company is now able to use customer generated model files to produce tooling and cutter programs, which has significantly improved project lead times".
In January 2008, we covered the news from Delcam
concerning its ArtCAM Insignia CAD/CAM software
- take a look at Woodworking/engraving CAD/CAM production
which says: "CAD/CAM software for the woodworking and engraving industries now has much greater emphasis on mass production applications such as cabinet making and decorated furniture".
Take a look also at the news release from Vora Industries, Advanced machining produces carbide cutters,
as well as Cylinder series covers wide performance spectrum from Bosch Rexroth,
and CADCAM software offers improved ease of use from Delcam.
