Start with the news release Aerotech offers ANT-LXV vertical translation stage from Aerotech, which we summarised at the time by saying "Aerotech has added a vertical translation stage to its ANT range of 'nanotranslation' linear position stages.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release NUM CNC platform controls Oxyser twin-head machine from NUM (UK): "Oxyser has increased the throughput of its oxy-acetylene steel cutting machinery and has automated the process by developing a twin-head machine controlled by NUM's Axium CNC platform.".
 
In June 2009, we covered the news from National Instruments - take a look at NI partners Mobilerobots for development platform which says: "National Instruments has announced a collaboration that combines the NI Labview design software and Mobilerobots Inc's autonomous mobile platforms to help engineers deploy service robot applications. ".
