We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Carbide Grades", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Aluminium alloys milled at high removal rates from Mitsubishi Carbide, which we summarised at the time by saying "Multi-functional cutters offer metal removal rates in aluminium alloys of up to 10,000 litre/min owing to rigid tool body, ultra secure insert clamping and the geometry of carbide inserts". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Button inserts reduce milling costs from WNT (UK): "Cutter body design of milling cutters allows he maximum number of inserts to be seated, which results in increased feed rates and reduced cycle times".

In October 2007, we covered the news from Iscar Tools concerning its 3P Sumo Line tooling and inserts - take a look at Metal cutting tooling to boost productivity which says: "Aiming to improve metal cutting productivity, profitability and performance, a range of tools and inserts feature tungsten carbide grades for drilling, milling, turning and grooving".

Take a look also at the news release from Horn Cutting Tools, Disc-type milling cutter is 'wafer-thin', as well as Insert drills offer holemaking flexibility from Mike Page - editor's feature articles, and Dual carbide drill reduces holemaking costs from Stellram.
