Start with the news release 2008 will be 'difficult' for UK economy from CBI, which we summarised at the time by saying "The director-General of the UK's Confederation of British Industry said 2008 will be a 'difficult year' for the UK economy owing to rising commodity prices and the continuing credit crunch".
