Start with the news release Makino machining centres cut titanium faster from NCMT, which we summarised at the time by saying "Japanese machine-tool builder Makino has introduced the Makino T4 and T2 five-axis, high power, horizontal machining centres for machining components from titanium and its alloys.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release MBS offers tabletop fastening sets from Item from Machine Building Systems: "A speedy method for securing chipboard or timber tops onto workbench frames made of Line-8 aluminium profiles from Item is now available from Machine Building Systems (MBS).".
