We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "CMM (Co-ordinate Measuring Machine)", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release 'Real time' job managment system made for SMEs from PSL DataTrack, which we summarised at the time by saying "A competitive subcontracting SME machine shop has to have a job management system, which provides its staff with factory status reports in 'real time'". Earlier in the week, we featured the news release Portable CMM arm is 30% more accurate from FARO Technologies: "On show at MACH 2008 will be a portable CMM measuring arm that 30% more accurate, 33% lighter in weight, and offers better performance in scanning dark or reflective surfaces".

In January 2008, we covered the news from Faro UK concerning its CAM2 Q CMM arm software - take a look at Metrology software made for portable CMM arms which says: "Metrology software for portable coordinate measuring arms can easily change/convert between different measurement units or coordinate systems".

Take a look also at the news release from FARO Technologies, Metrology software made for portable CMM arms, as well as Tube inspection software provides CNC bend data from Hexagon Metrology, and Tool manufacturing time cut in half from Delcam.
