We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "CO2 Laser", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Laser welding performed manually or by CNC from Rofin-Baasel UK, which we summarised at the time by saying "An ergonomically designed and integrated laser welding system includes four high precision axes, which can be controlled manually or operated under full CNC". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Ensuring metal product marking is tamper-proof from ES Technology: "A laser marking system has been designed to meet the specific needs of the automotive industry, for the production of tamper evident self adhesive labels".

In January 2008, we covered the news from LVD (UK) concerning its Orion 4020 laser profiling machine - take a look at Laser system profiles 4m by 2m sheets accurately which says: "A hybrid-style CO2 laser cutting system for cutting and profiling sheets up to 4m x 2m has a highly rigid, high-precision drive system, which provides precise motion and position control".

Take a look also at the news release from Rofin-Baasel UK, Lasers simplify selective weakening, perforation, as well as High-precision laser cuts more productively from Fanuc GE CNC UK, and Patent awarded for innovative marking from DataLase.
