Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Floyd to present tooling for sliding-head machines from Floyd Automatic Tooling: "On stand 5281 at Mach 2010, Floyd Automatic Tooling will be demonstrating its ability to supply a wide and specialised range of tooling to users of sliding-head turning centres.".
 
In March 2010, we covered the news from Geo Kingsbury Machine Tools - take a look at Mill-turn centre enables guide-brush support which says: "Traub has introduced a CNC sliding-head mill-turn centre on which it is possible to select whether to turn a component with the support of a guide bush, or without it. ".
