We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Component Manufacturing Costs", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Vertical production grinding centre hard turns from Emag UK, which we summarised at the time by saying "For the production machining of small chucked components of 2-60mm diameter, a vertical pick-up spindle grinding centre performs ID/OD/eccentric grinding and hard turning". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Machining raw-part to complete-machined shaft from Emag UK: "Two in one go - vertical turning centers combine either end-machining and finish-turning operations, or - on its two-spindle variant - pre- and finish-machining of both shaft ends".

In March 2006, we covered the news from PCM Tooling (UK) concerning its Tool holders for nakamura mill/turn centres - take a look at Driven and static toolholders fit Nakamuras which says: "A range of high precision driven and static toolholders to fit the Nakamura WT100 range of CNC mill/turn centres offer significant advances in productivity and a reduction in part manufacturing costs".

Take a look also at the news release from Emag UK, Following SW acquisition, EMAG adds on Koepfer, as well as Complete CNC machining systems offered from Emag Maschinenfabrik, and OEMs and SMEs go for pick-up spindle VTLs from Emag UK.
