We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Converter", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release AC drives simplify production line maintenance from Control Techniques, which we summarised at the time by saying "To simplify maintenance, an automotive production plant has restricted itself to one make and one type of frequency converter for all applications over 1.1kW, to eliminate long down-times". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release HMIs get DeviceNet slave connectivity from Red Lion Controls: "The G3DN DeviceNet option card allows users to quickly add DeviceNet slave connectivity to any of the G3 series of operator interfaces".

In January 2008, we covered the news from National Instruments concerning its USB-5680 power meter - take a look at Easy-to-Use 6GHz meter is USB-controlled which says: "Combining measurement accuracy with small size, an easy-to-use 6GHz meter provides a highly flexible device for automated test, measurement and monitoring applications".

Take a look also at the news release from Facom UK, Digital laser thermometer measures to 270 deg C, as well as Variable speed pump drives save on energy from Bosch Rexroth, and 3D data format software is interactive from Lattice Technology.
