We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Cutting Cycles", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Carbide cutting tool inserts prices cut at MACH from LMT Fette, which we summarised at the time by saying "During the UK's MACH 2008 show, visitors to the LMT Fette stand can buy 30 inserts in one grade and in one chip breaker geometry for just GBP 75.00 - a saving of up to GBP 130". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Horizontal machining center machines optics from 600 Centre: "Custom built horizontal machining centre has machined the largest lightweight beryllium optic for an infrared optimised space telescope to be launched in 2013".

In November 2007, we covered the news from Star Micronics GB concerning its Model SB-16D and real time QC - take a look at In-process QC made on CNC sliding head lathes which says: "Subcontractor has developed a measuring system for real-time, in-process quality control of components on CNC mill-turn sliding head automatic lathes".

Take a look also at the news release from Hurco Europe, CNC milling control contours faster, as well as Bandsaw halves alloy cutting times from Kasto, and Rigidity for multi axis mill turn centres from Colchester-Harrison.
