We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Cutting Metal", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Wireless probing controls chassis production from Renishaw, which we summarised at the time by saying "A wireless machine probing system has shortened earthmover chassis 'make-ready' time dramatically and introduced guaranteed precision and quality control - avoiding costly errors". A few weeks before, we featured the news release CNC machine tool builders European sales up 45% from Haas Automation: "Nearly 170,000 visitors attended the EMO 2007 exhibition and Haas Automation Europe, showing 30 CNC machine tools, said it had sold 555 units - up 45% against 2006".

In September 2007, we covered the news from Jetcam International concerning its JETCAM Expert 1 CAD and CAM - take a look at CAD/CAM choice offered local language support which says: "Dutch sheet metal working subcontractor used an extensive selection process to choose a CAD/CAM system that was more efficient, easy to use and offered local language support".

Take a look also at the news release from Kingsbury Machine Tools, Subcontractor adds on 5-axis die machining, as well as Advanced toolholders extend tool lives from Schunk Intec, and Machining centre uses two, not eight, set-ups from DMG (UK).
