We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Cutting Parameters", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Machine tools take the lead - for now from Mike Page - editor's feature articles, which we summarised at the time by saying "At one time, tooling development tended to be a year or so ahead of machine tool development, lately the trend went the other way, though toolmakers are now more than catching up, writes Mike Page". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Specialised drills save machining costs from Mike Page - editor's feature articles: "Six drilling developments shown by Kennametal at EMO 2007, included hole making in SS and carbon-fibre reinforced polymers, deep-hole drilling and a modular drilling system, reports Mike Page".

In October 2007, we covered the news from Rofin-Baasel UK concerning its StarCut Tube laser cutting system - take a look at Laser-machining micro-tubes which says: "Linear motor technology together with directly driven rotary axes provide enhanced speed and accuracy for the laser machining of complex geometries in micro components".

Take a look also at the news release from DP Technology, CAM gives productivity for CNC programming, as well as Plasma-arc profiler enables small batch work from ESAB Automation, and CNC plasma-arc profilers raise capacity from ESAB Automation.
