We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Cylinder Heads", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Automated shot blasting saves costs, ups safety from Rosler UK, which we summarised at the time by saying "Automated shot blasting systems for high value castings increase process safety and lower foundry costs by lowering manual labour involvement in fettling and surface finishing, says Rosler UK". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release CNCs chosen for reliability and spares service from Fanuc GE CNC UK: "For automotive production lines machining 15.6litre V8 truck diesel engine components, a Swedish company has selected CNCs on the basis of reliability and spares service".

In November 2007, we covered the news from Mike Page - editor's feature articles concerning its Kennametal drilling developments - take a look at Specialised drills save machining costs which says: "Six drilling developments shown by Kennametal at EMO 2007, included hole making in SS and carbon-fibre reinforced polymers, deep-hole drilling and a modular drilling system, reports Mike Page".

Take a look also at the news release from Micro-Epsilon UK, Automatic systems scan car bodies for defects, as well as Machining software speeds cylinder heads from Delcam, and Automated cell brings machining back in-house from Fanuc Robotics (UK).
