Start with the news release ERP suits mould, tool and prototype firms from Sescoi International, which we summarised at the time by saying "ERP system has complete functionality and tools to meet the specific requirements of the mold, die, tool, model, pattern, prototype and special machine making industries". Earlier in the week, we featured the news release Materials test data exported to SQL database from Lloyd Instruments: "An export utility has been added to materials test and control software to allow the automatic export of data from a materials tests run to an SQL database".
 
In September 2007, we covered the news from HK Technologies concerning its Emcomat E160 lathe with 'Easy Cycle' - take a look at Teach-in control simplifies lathe operation which says: "A teach-in control system for electronic lathes brings simplicity and ease of programming and/or operation in combination with high-performance operating software".
