Start with the news release CPU controller increases speed, performance from GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms UK, which we summarised at the time by saying "CPU controller has an Intel 1 GHz processor to provide unprecedented speed and performance for applications where the processing power of the current controller has reached its limit". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Wiring analyser tests harnesses, connectors from Clare Instruments: "A tough, portable and reliable 'all-in-one' bench top high voltage wiring analyser rapidly and easily HiPot tests cables, connectors and harnesses".
 
In January 2008, we covered the news from Malvern Instruments concerning its EasyFairs Solids 2008 analysis products - take a look at Control particle size, measurement and moisture which says: "Two companies will be showing the latest developments in particle sizing systems for solids processing and infrared sensors for on-line measurement and control of moisture and composition".
