We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Devicenet", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Data communication interface introduced from Yokogawa Europe - Industrial Automation, which we summarised at the time by saying "A compatible communication interface for industrial recorders and data acquisition equipment eliminates the need for dedicated software to connect with other devices". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Positioning systems and drives introduced from HMK Automation and Drives: "Integrated positioning systems are designed to provide quick and easy setting of axes on production machines and include an absolute encoder in a compact easy to fit package".

In January 2008, we covered the news from Omron Scientific Technologies concerning its NE1A-EDR01 Ethernet/IP-DeviceNet Routers - take a look at An Ethernet/IP-DeviceNet router introduced which says: "An Ethernet/IP-DeviceNet Router allows the operating condition of a DeviceNet safety system to be configured and monitored from a general-purpose Ethernet device".

Take a look also at the news release from Red Lion Controls, HMIs get DeviceNet slave connectivity, as well as Integrating Modbus devices into CIP architecture from ODVA, and Controller performs PID loops outside the PLC from Eurotherm.
