We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Drive Shaft", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Mill-turn centre has 10kW of milling power from Turning Technologies UK, which we summarised at the time by saying "As well as having two Y-axis turrets, a CNC mill-turn centre to be shown at MACH 2008, offers 10kW of milling power on every tool station for milling bar, billets or blanks". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release AC drives simplify production line maintenance from Control Techniques: "To simplify maintenance, an automotive production plant has restricted itself to one make and one type of frequency converter for all applications over 1.1kW, to eliminate long down-times".

In January 2008, we covered the news from Hardinge Machine Tools concerning its 5C2 Rotary Indexer - take a look at Rotary indexer takes heavier loads which says: "Robust rotary indexer takes heavier radial and axial loads and offers greater accuracy and more spindle clearance and tooling access".

Take a look also at the news release from Belden, Universal joints are corrosion resistant in vacuum, as well as Drives maker expands large gears manufacturing from Siemens Automation and Drives, and Sealless pumps effective for cleaning from Michael Smith Engineers.
