Start with the news release CNC wire EDM expands tooling inserts range from Agie Charmilles, which we summarised at the time by saying "Manufacturer of tooling inserts has invested in a wire-EDM machine tool to broaden the variety of inserts offered in polycrystalline diamond and natural diamond materials". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Advanced diesinking/wire EDM cell boosts cars from Agie Charmilles: "A dedicated and high-capability diesinking and wire EDM manufacturing cell has been installed by a UK Formula 1 car racing team to help improve its performance in the 2007 season".
