We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Finish Grinding", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Machining centres produce hydraulic parts families from Yamazaki Mazak UK, which we summarised at the time by saying "A manufacturer's on-going development in hydraulic pumps and motors is paralleled by the installation of multi-tasking machining centres for small and medium batch production". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Cylindrical grinding machine finishes in one pass from Rollomatic: "The new ShapeSmart NP4 by Rollomatic is a reinforced version of the existing CNC148P4 cylindrical grinding machine with a patented method of rough and finish grinding in one pass".

In June 2006, we covered the news from NCMT concerning its VIPER grinding - gear making - take a look at HMC uses VIPER to machine racing gears which says: "Avoiding the expense and long delivery of form dressers for conventional form grinding, a horizontal machining centre uses VIPER grinding to machine precision gear for a racing car transmission".

Take a look also at the news release from Star Micronics GB, Single- and multi-spindle auto capacity, as well as System detects 'chatter' marks in ground rolls from AMTRI, and How aircraft design may affect machine tools from CECIMO.
