Start with the news release Automatic storage/cutting speeds steel deliveries from Friedrich Remmert, which we summarised at the time by saying "Speedy and flexible order processing for steel products are ensured primarily thanks to the use of integrated, fully-automatic storage and cutting technologies". In October 2007, we covered the news from 600 Centre concerning its Mitsui Seiki HU80A machining centres FMS - take a look at FMS machines titanium components which says: "A flexible manufacturing system, consisting of four machining centres and an automatic pallet loading, handling and storage system, has been commissioned at a UK aircraft plant".
