A Manufacturingtalk guide

Start with the news release Thermo Fisher to present Exactive LC-MS at Achema from Thermo Fisher Scientific, which we summarised at the time by saying "Thermo Fisher Scientific will showcase a portfolio of new instruments, accessories, consumables and software at Achema 2009, to be held in Frankfurt, Germany, from 11-15 May. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Celsum reveals sapphire optical process probe from Celsum Technologies: "Celsum Technologies has unveiled the SWOPP03C sapphire window optical process probe, a robust transmission probe with a 600-micrometre internal glass fibre and an SMA 905 standard optical connector.".

In July 2008, we covered the news from Celsum Technologies - take a look at Optical probes check moulding materials in process which says: "Sapphire window optical process probes fit into standard transducer ports on extruders, injection moulding machines o allow on-line spectroscopic analysis of a wide range of materials.".

Take a look also at the news release from A2 Technologies, Analyse machinery lubrication on-site, as well as Air/gas testing and monitoring exhibition from MCERTS Exhibition, and Discussing polymers use in aerospace/defense from Smithers Rapra.
