Start with the news release Ford awards top supplier status to Stadco from Stadco, which we summarised at the time by saying "Ford has awarded Q1 status to a plant of a leading UK supplier of body-in-white services and facilities, Stadco, whose West Midlands facility supplies pressed aluminium skin panels". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Automotive containers assembled and tested from Barr and Paatz: "An automated assembly and test cell for automotive screenwash containers automatically produces and leak-test some 75,000 units annually at a 99% success rate".
 
In November 2006, we covered the news from KMT Robotic Solutions - take a look at Abrasive water jet cutting order awarded to KMT which says: "Under an order from Boeing, KMT Cutting Systems will construct, assemble, deliver and install a complete robotized abrasive waterjet cutting to produce parts for the Boeing 787".
