We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Grey Cast iron", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Horizontal machining centres are fast, powerful from Heller Machine Tools, which we summarised at the time by saying "Latest horizontal machining centres are fast, powerful, productive machines, capable of heavy stock removal, fast traverse in all axes, and high accuracy". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Highly flexible hobber cuts gears up to Module 4 from Emag UK: "Equipped with flexible stock-handling system and integrated automation, a universal production gear hobbing machine cuts gear and gear-shaft type components up to module 4".

In November 2007, we covered the news from Rosler Oberflaechentechnik concerning its Continuous spinner hanger shot blast machine - take a look at Foundry desanding and blast cleaning is continuous which says: "A continuous spinner hanger shot blast machine offered a steel foundry high performance/productivity in relation to the price to process castings weighing from 50 to 10,000kg".

Take a look also at the news release from WNT (UK), Rough milling geometry designed for irons, as well as Latest HMCs machine compacted graphite iron from Heller Machine Tools, and Horizontal machining centres are very dynamic from Heller Machine Tools.
