We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Guideway", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release CNC lathes customised for work requirements from Leader CNC, which we summarised at the time by saying "Rigid and robust turning centres are available as 2-axis 'turn-only', multi-axis versions with driven tools and C-axis, or as a mill-turn centre with sub-spindle, radial tool turret and C-axis". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Horizontal machining centres are fast, powerful from Heller Machine Tools: "Latest horizontal machining centres are fast, powerful, productive machines, capable of heavy stock removal, fast traverse in all axes, and high accuracy".

In December 2007, we covered the news from Rodriguez (UK) concerning its TMT Power-Line linear guideway T100 - take a look at Compact linear guideway is easy to assemble which says: "A belt-driven, compact linear guideway only has to be fitted with a motor to move light loads with high acceleration and speed".

Take a look also at the news release from Deckel Grinders, Moving towards perfectly precise machining, as well as Ultrasonics aids hard machining in a VMC from DMG (UK), and Miniature linear guideways take high loads from Rodriguez (UK).
