We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Interlocks", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Manual screwdriver has automatic feeding from Weber Automatic Assembly Systems, which we summarised at the time by saying "A new low cost manual hand screwdriver with automatic feeding offers an accessible method of achieving increased production levels in a wide range of industrial applications". Earlier in the week, we featured the news release Ensuring metal product marking is tamper-proof from ES Technology: "A laser marking system has been designed to meet the specific needs of the automotive industry, for the production of tamper evident self adhesive labels".

In January 2008, we covered the news from Fortress Interlocks concerning its Voltage Switching units - take a look at Voltage switching unit betters safety, efficiency which says: "Voltage switching units that prevent the removal of a safety gate access key whilst a machine is in motion and is far more efficient than an alternative fixed timer system".

Take a look also at the news release from Pilz Automation Technology, Guard interlocks minimise defeat possibilities, as well as Comprehensive service maintains off-highway plant from ZF Great Britain, and Safety test streamlined for complex product from Clare Instruments.
