Start with the news release Business as usual at 2009 Subcon event from Subcon, which we summarised at the time by saying "Organisers at Subcon have announced that visitor numbers were up 30 per cent at the 2009 event, held at the NEC in Birmingham on 9-11 June 2009.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Laserline exhibits next-generation diode lasers from Laserline: "Laserline, a manufacturer of high-power diode laser systems for industrial applications, displayed its next-generation lasers at Laser 2009 in Munich.".
