We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Machine Builders", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release CNC platform has user-programmable MMI from NUM (UK), which we summarised at the time by saying "CNC platform has advanced scalability, an open user-programmable man-machine interface and software covering tool grinding, gear and high speed cutting and transfer and special machines". The day before, we featured the news release Drive interface is internationally standardised from Profibus Group: "The established PROFIdrive profile for PROFIBUS and PROFINET became an internationally standardized drive interface, following publication of the IEC series 61800-7".

In February 2008, we covered the news from Scorpion Vision concerning its 3D stereo vision system - take a look at Robots can make use of 3D vision system which says: "A 3D stereo vision system a software based system that utilises two cameras which work together in the same way that a human uses two eyes, so giving a robot, for example, 3D vision".

Take a look also at the news release from IDC, Machines communications can be wire-less, as well as Configured drive packages save costs from Rockwell Automation, and Brushless AC servo motors suit automation from Baldor UK.
