We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Machine Designers", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Torque/force sensors check gear reducers from Alpha Gear Drives, which we summarised at the time by saying "Advanced sensor technology integrates torque and force sensors directly into the housing of servo gear reducers, to make accurate measurement of torque, axial loading and radial loading". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Electrical cylinder for programmable positioning from Festo: "Festo has launched the DNCE series of electrical piston-rod cylinders with an intelligent servomotor option for all-in-one programmable positioning for industrial automation".

In May 2007, we covered the news from Pilz Automation Technology concerning its Safety controller - take a look at Speed monitoring module for shearpins which says: "Pilz Automation Technology has introduced speed monitoring modules and safety functions for the PNOZmulti configurable safety controller for monitoring shearpins".

Take a look also at the news release from Procter Machinery Guarding, How and why to specify cable ducting for machines, as well as Festo at Total 2007 from Festo, and Torque and force sensors used in drives from Alpha Calibration Services.
