We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Machine Designs", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Special machines build simplified from Misumi, which we summarised at the time by saying "At the UK's Machine Building Show, a company is introducing a system of standard shapes, used within industry standard machines, to simplify special machine construction". A few weeks before, we featured the news release UK/India deal made in heavy duty machine tools from AsquithButler: "UK machine tool builder is to have most components mad in India, except for the 'core' assemblies such as heads and rams for its heavy duty moving column machining centres".

In July 2007, we covered the news from Bespoke Machines concerning its Specialised drilling machines - take a look at Drilling bowls for a good grip which says: "Perhaps one would not readily associate machine tools with bowling, but a special machine has been supplied to drill dimples or grips on the crown green type of bowls".

Take a look also at the news release from Panduit, Emboss alphanumeric text onto plates, tags, as well as Rotoflex nominated for continuous innovation from Rotoflex Tooling, and Injection molders use floor/shelf mounted robots from KUKA Automation + Robotics.
