We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Machine Vision", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release 'Real time' job managment system made for SMEs from PSL DataTrack, which we summarised at the time by saying "A competitive subcontracting SME machine shop has to have a job management system, which provides its staff with factory status reports in 'real time'". Earlier in the week, we featured the news release Robots use 3D vision to locate and pick parts from Scorpion Vision: "To avoid having to use manual workers to unpack incoming loads of products, a 3D machine vision system gives robots the ability to pick from parts randomly deposited in a container".

In February 2008, we covered the news from Moritex Europe concerning its MHAB-100 infrared IR light source - take a look at Infrared light source is incandescent which says: "Standard incandescent Infrared light source offering a broad light spectrum unachievable with LEDs and penetrate into or through materials for inspction of MEMS or solar panel products".

Take a look also at the news release from Flir Systems, Infrared camera operations integrated, as well as Imaging software inspects micro products from Matrox Imaging, and Camera checks PCBs much faster from Adept Electronic Solutions.
