We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Magnets", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Wireless machine condition detector is safer from SKF UK, which we summarised at the time by saying "A wireless machine condition detector is claimed to be faster and safer for operators carrying out inspections, enabling operating costs to be reduced considerably". Earlier in the week, we featured the news release Magnetic chucks offer high work holding power from Eclipse Magnetics: "A high-performance, electro-permanent magnetic chuck offers 150 tonf/m2 of magnetic pull, enabling huge holding forces to be generated on even modestly sized workpieces".

In January 2008, we covered the news from SAV North America concerning its Permanent Lifting Magnets - take a look at Permanent lifting magnets have 3:1 safety factor which says: "Permanent lifting magnets offer a 3:1 Safety Factor, meaning the products lift three times the rated capacity and have a self-locking mechanism, which prevents accidental deactivation of the magnet".

Take a look also at the news release from Moog Controls, Cartridge valve permits high-density fitting, as well as Fastening uses plastic and steel in one part from Norse Precision Castings, and Dual-channel Hall-effect sensor for speed from Allegro MicroSystems Europe.
