We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "MEMS (micro electro-mechanical systems)", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Infrared light source is incandescent from Moritex Europe, which we summarised at the time by saying "Standard incandescent Infrared light source offering a broad light spectrum unachievable with LEDs and penetrate into or through materials for inspction of MEMS or solar panel products". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Optical filter coatings deposited on tubes from Deposition Sciences: "Special tooling and processes permit coating the outside of tubes with durable and precision optical filters that withstand extreme heat, temperature fluctuations and high humidity".

In December 2007, we covered the news from Aerotech concerning its ARMS series rotary motion simulators - take a look at Rotary motion simulators test instruments which says: "Rotary stage and control system for simulating rotary motion provides highly accurate angular rates, acceleration and position profiles for inertial component test systems and instruments".

Take a look also at the news release from Aerotech, Rotary air bearing stages position precisely, as well as Quality, manufacturing management software chosen from Eyelit, and Linear air bearing stage has active preload from Aerotech.
