We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Metal Cutting Machine", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Machine tool firm acquires French tooling from Mori Seiki UK, which we summarised at the time by saying "Mori Seiki Co in Japan has reached an agreement to take over the business of Sandvik Tobler SAS, France, which is a part of the Sandvik Tooling business area". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Mori Seiki wish to acquire Dixi machine tools from Mori Seiki UK: "It is Mori Seiki's intent to purchase the Swiss Dixi precision machine tool manufacturing facility and continue the machines' design, manufacture, distribution and service".

In October 2006, we covered the news from Matsuura Machinery concerning its Vertical machining centre life - take a look at 21 year old VMC 'still going strong' which says: "'Our 21 year old Matsuura MC500 is still a 'fantastic' machine, which underlines the build quality and longevity of Matsuura products,' said Qualtronic's Milling Machine Shop in the UK".

Take a look also at the news release from Pathtrace Engineering Systems, CAM reduces 4-/5-axis millturn centre complexities, as well as CAD/CAM provider appoints managing director from Pathtrace Engineering Systems, and Planit Holdings acquires CAM provider from Planit Holdings.
