We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Metal Forming", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Portable CMM arm is 30% more accurate from FARO Technologies, which we summarised at the time by saying "On show at MACH 2008 will be a portable CMM measuring arm that 30% more accurate, 33% lighter in weight, and offers better performance in scanning dark or reflective surfaces". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Spanish machine tool 2007 exports rose 10.3% from AFM: "The Association of Spanish Machine Tool Manufacturers (AFM) has reported machine tool production up by 7.3% and exports up by 10.3% during 2007".

In January 2008, we covered the news from Manufacturing Technologies Association - take a look at UK Q3 machine tool exports grow which says: "During the third quarter (Q3) of 2007, the UK exported machine tools worth GBP 126.5 million - an increase of 11.2% over Q3, 2006, and 12.2% higher than Q2, 2007".

Take a look also at the news release from Turck, Sensors have 6mm range on ferrous, NF metals, as well as Plastic chain/slat conveyors are very flexible from Automation Supplies, and Die lifters and movers speed press tool change from PREMiTEC.
