We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Motor Protection", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release 'Intelligent' relays protect electric motors from Schneider Electric, which we summarised at the time by saying "Intended to cut plant downtime and reduce maintenance costs, intelligent motor protection relays include thermal overload, motor temperature monitoring, earth fault and phase imbalance detection". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Electric motor starter reduces mechanical stress from Emotron: "Emotron has launched the MSF 2.0, a softstarter which minimises start currents and mechanical stress on start-up, and also provides efficient torque control and advanced braking techniques".

In April 2007, we covered the news from Danfoss Drives concerning its Drive - take a look at Reliable VLT variable frequency drive which says: "Danfoss Drives has introduced the VLT Micro variable frequency drive, a compact and robust drive with benefits and performance traditionally found only in larger drives".

Take a look also at the news release from Moeller Electric, Low-voltage vacuum contactors offer space savings, as well as Motor protection circuit breakers for versatility from Moeller Electric, and Star-delta motor starters keep it safe and easy from Moeller Electric.
