We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Pallet Change", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release CNC turning centre loads bar or components from Leader CNC, which we summarised at the time by saying "Pick-up horizontal turning centre is fitted with a bar feeder and/or component loading unloading system and gives ease of access for manual loading". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Advanced EDM and milling machines to be shown from Agie Charmilles: "UK Open House will feature 'entry-level' and advanced wire and sink EDM machines and 3- to 5-axis milling machines, including a 5-axis palletised machining centre".

In December 2007, we covered the news from NCMT concerning its Okuma VTM-80YB mill-turn VTL - take a look at CNC miller/borer vertically turns as well which says: "Described as a 'cross between a heavy duty vertical turning and boring facility and a 5-axis machining centre' a bed-type machine has a 30kW turning table".

Take a look also at the news release from Whitehouse Machine Tools, Vertical machining centre speeds machining by two, as well as Horizontal machining centre loading simplified from Leader CNC, and Drill/tap centres machine aluminium from Hardinge Machine Tools.
