We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Planetary Gear", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Modular worm gear units have oversized bearings from Nord Gear, which we summarised at the time by saying "High-reliability right-angle worm gear units have oversized bearings to extend life in electro-mechanical automation applications such as conveyors". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Linear drives position to 30 micron from Alpha Gear Drives: "Linear drives, using rack and pinion systems, position to an accuracy of 30 micron and offer acceleration up to 4G and speeds of up to 300m/min".

In August 2007, we covered the news from Wheelabrator Group concerning its Vibratory finishing machines - take a look at Vibratory machines deburr automatically which says: "Two vibratory finishing machines have released skilled operators in variable manual parts deburring practices for assembling and testing pumps".

Take a look also at the news release from Brevini, Reliable drive system for waste water site, as well as Precision high speed press lengthens tool life from Haulick and Roos, and Stepper motors are a cost-effective alternative from Beckhoff Automation.
