‘Prismatic Machining’

A Manufacturingtalk guide

Start with the news release Unicut builds clean room and sub-assembly line from Unicut Precision, which we summarised at the time by saying "Unicut Precision has established a clean-room area as part of the expansion of its production facilities at Welwyn Garden City.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Barden manufactures cylindrical roller bearings from Barden Corporation: "The Barden Corporation has announced it is able to manufacture a range of cylindrical roller bearings up to 150mm outside diameter.".

In July 2009, we covered the news from NCMT - take a look at Makino machining centres cut titanium faster which says: "Japanese machine-tool builder Makino has introduced the Makino T4 and T2 five-axis, high power, horizontal machining centres for machining components from titanium and its alloys.".

Take a look also at the news release from Clitheroe Light Engineering, Clitheroe plans further FMS extension, as well as ITC aluminium milling cutter quickly clears swarf from ITC Tooling, and DP to display Esprit CAM software at DMTS 2009 from DP Technology.
