We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Production Control System", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release System controls manufacturing management from Jobshop, which we summarised at the time by saying "A high capability manufacturing and production control system includes product and service configuration, estimating, quoting, specifying and ordering". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Production control has best materials traceability from Stone Technology: "Users of a computerised production control software report material traceability as 'second to none' and 'implementation was stress-free and training much easier than anticipated'".

In December 2007, we covered the news from Yokogawa Europe - Test and Measurement concerning its Plant Resource Manager - take a look at Plant resource management software upgraded which says: "Plant Resource Manager (PRM) software performs a detailed diagnosis of assets such as turbines and rotating and reciprocating equipment that are critical to a user's operations".

Take a look also at the news release from Jobshop, Production control software manages costs, as well as Instrument and control award for manufacturer from Yokogawa Europe - Industrial Automation, and Production control interfaced with accounting from Jobshop.
