We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Programmable Controller", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Low cost PLC usage diversifies widely from Mitsubishi Electric Automation Systems, which we summarised at the time by saying "A low cost programmable controller has such features as analogue inputs, PID control loop, real time clock and GSM modem facilities, as well as simple function block programming". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Innovative PLC makes automation simple and open from Schneider Electric: "A mid-range yet powerful programmable controller offers high performance, multi-tasked processing and support for all five of the IEC61131/3 programming languages".

In April 2007, we covered the news from Unitemp concerning its Fluid test chamber - take a look at New fluid test chamber reduces leakage which says: "Unitemp has announced a range of liquid to liquid thermal shock chambers suitable for testing electrical and automotive components that reduce the loss of expensive testing fluids".

Take a look also at the news release from ISA (Instrumentation, Systems and Aut Soc), Guide to programmable controllers, as well as PLC serial communications enhanced from Idec Electronics, and Positioning system speeds multi-spindle set-up from Elesa (UK).
